Marathon. 42,195 km. A historical test for endurance. Several months of training. Day and night. Easy and Hard. Beyond physical. Pushing your limits. Being sore but loving every minute of it. Test for commitment, persistence and loyalty. Each and every day. Self-discipline. Full determination to finish something tough. Something really formidable. Training alone. Training with friends. Sharing what you have with beautiful people. Good memories. Bad days. Injuries. Cross trainings. No shortcut, no easy way. Acceptance of pain and strain. No line of least resistance. Seeing how human beings can adapt themselves physically and mentally. Learning how the body works. Learning yourself. Having an objective. Very specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely. Toughness. Mental toughness that knowing you will never give up. Toughness that prepares you for famous wall.
Facing the wall. Yes, there is this wall. But, the wall is there for a reason. The wall is not there to keep you out. The wall is there to give you a chance to show how badly you want something. Because the wall is there to stop the people who do not want it badly enough. They are there to stop the other people.
Like a marathon journey, life is not always perfect. May be it will never be. Nothing is perfect. We are as humans products of chaos. Only you can make it count, you can make it memorable. You can make it better. You can look and push for it. Then, it makes you faster, higher and stronger.
Just let your aims kill you to a better reborn.
Feel the pain, feel the improvement. Feel all. Feel the joy.
At the end of the day,
you have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat.
